Many thanks to MDB, who was the inspiration for the candy cane container.

Congratulations for creating the winning entry in the "floater" contest, a grade 2 science project to complete at home in which students had to create a "floater" that could carry the most weight. With the ingenious use of duct tape and styrofoam packing, MDB devised a container that could float not only candy canes but at least a large jar of pennies as well!
