I was ecstatic when SAVEUR magazine chose our cherry snowball recipe and story from reader submissions for their December 2013 issue. They decided to use Luxardo cherries instead of dried cherries in the recipe they published. We were thrilled when the SAVEUR test kitchen sent a jar of these superior Maraschino cherries to me so we could try the cookies using them too. It turns out that Luxardo cherries are superior to regular old Maraschino cherries....
