Choose Color --> Palette operations --> Transparency

Check Layer uses transparency box
set background colour - part 2

Scroll through transparent palette index of colours until the background turns to light grey. (Remember, this will light grey colour will NOT appear on the web. It is there to ensure that you select the correct colour for transparency.) Save.

Save as GIF . Delete unused colours . Set background colour . Set the transparency . Remove background noise . Check your work
